Managed Service Overview

Managed Service Overview

How the partnership works: what the developer owns, what Flexion operates, and the ongoing release cycle.

Overview

Flexion provides more than a technology platform. Alongside the Flexion SDK, we offer a managed service designed to simplify the process of launching and operating your game across alternative Android app stores.

Once the Flexion Variant has been integrated and validated, Flexion takes responsibility for distributing and operating the title across supported stores, reducing the operational burden on your team.

How the Partnership Works

The relationship between the developer and Flexion is intentionally straightforward.

Initial Onboarding

The initial onboarding process is a one-time effort required to prepare your game for alternative app store distribution. During this phase, the developer creates a dedicated Flexion Variant, integrates the Flexion SDK, and validates the implementation before handing the release build to Flexion for publication.

  1. 1Developer: create Flexion Variant
  2. 2Developer: integrate Flexion SDK
  3. 3Developer: test & validate
  4. 4Flexion: store preparation
  5. 5Flexion: store submission
  6. 6Flexion: launch coordination
  7. 7Live on alternative app stores

Once the title has been approved and published, Flexion takes responsibility for managing the release process across supported stores.

Store Assets and Metadata

To launch successfully, Flexion requires a set of store assets and metadata. In most cases, these are the same assets already used for Google Play, including:

Where store-specific changes are required, Flexion will work with the developer and handle the adaptation process where possible.

Ongoing Release Cycle

After launch, the process becomes significantly simpler. Developers continue creating new content, features and updates as part of their normal development cycle. When a new version is ready, an updated Flexion Variant is provided to Flexion for distribution.

  1. 1Developer: new game update
  2. 2Developer: updated Flexion build
  3. 3Flexion: build review
  4. 4Flexion: store submission
  5. 5Flexion: release management
  6. 6Live update across supported stores — repeat for every update

Ongoing Operations

Following launch, Flexion continues to support the title through ongoing store operations. This may include:
